Dr. Gary Quarnberg grew up in the small town of Green River, Utah. He Graduated at the top his class. In 1992, he began his studies at the College of Eastern Utah where he received his associate of science degree, played on the men's basketball team and met his wife to be, Celeste. 

He also served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Gary finished up his undergraduate work in 1998 at the University of Utah where he obtained a bachelor of medical science degree. He completed his Doctor of Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association. 

He worked at the Lasik Vision Institute in Houston, Texas where he specialized in preoperative and postoperative care for hundreds of patients interested in and then getting LASIK surgery. 

He began working as an optometrist in Grand Junction, Colorado in June of 2003 and opened his own private practice in Fruita, Colorado in April of 2004. 

The outdoors is where Gary loves to spend most of his time. Golfing, biking, and fishing are just a few of the things he enjoys doing. He especially loves to spend time with his wife Celeste, daughters Kylee and Aubree, and son Braden. 

Dr. Michael Reeder grew up right here in the Grand Valley. He Graduated from Fruita Monument High School in 1999. Dr Reeder received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mesa State College in Grand Junction. 

He then earned the Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he graduated with professional honors. Dr. Reeder completed internships focusing on ocular disease in rural Utah and Wyoming. 

He joined the VisualEyes Eyecare team in 2012, and is proud to provide quality eye care to the people of his hometown. 

When not at the office, Dr. Reeder enjoys spending time with his wife Tonya and two daughters.
